Kinderdienstencentrum De Lotusbloem
Dutch Flower Foundation has committed itself for 3 years to children’s service center De Lotusbloem in Aalsmeer (part of Ons Tweede Thuis foundation) with an annual contribution. The first contribution was used to purchase a ‘4-senses acoustic chair’. This chair reduces environmental stimuli, allowing you to relax in your own safe environment.
An employee at OZ Planten in Aalsmeer (part of Dutch Flower Group), told Ferro van Dam about our foundation. His daughter Nova is 5 years old and has multiple disabilities and attends a wonderful school called De Lotusbloem.
About De Lotusbloem
De Lotusbloem is a foundation where children with a combination of disabilities can go for support and education. It is a place where children receive a lot of care, can develop themselves and above all, they have fun and enjoy life. Ferro van Dam: “It is also a place that provides some peace of mind for the families of these children. All of Aalsmeer can be proud of this school!”
There are many products on the market that can make the lives of the children a lot easier and more fun, but often they require just a little more money than is available in the foundation. Therefore, all help, such as from Dutch Flower Foundation, is welcome.

First school lunch for the kids of Herburg Special Needs School 🍽️😊

Since March, the Dutch Flower Foundation has helped to ensure that the children of the Herburg Special Needs School receive a nutritious meal every day. We previously promised to support the construction and furnishing of the school, and in addition, we will provide the financing for lunch for at least the coming year.
Support the children of the Umbrella Children’s Home with bouquet Flowers for Kenya

The Umbrella Children’s Home in Nairobi houses more than 65 orphans who urgently need a safe environment, care and education. Without this orphanage, the children would be living on the streets. This orphanage is currently renting the land, but there is a good chance that the lease will just be terminated by the landlord. Fortunately, they now have the opportunity to buy an adjacent piece of land, but for that they urgently need financial support. Therefore, together with the companies Van Dijk Flora, E-Flora and the DFG production location in Kenya, we have set up a joint action to help the orphanage.

Hogar Para Sus Niños, an initiative of For His Children, is a loving home for abandoned and vulnerable children in Ecuador. The project provides a safe environment with professional care focused on the recovery and development of children who have experienced trauma.
