St Michaels Nyanzou Primary School in Zimbabwe
Dutch Flower Foundation is proud supporter of St Michaels Nyanzou Primary School in Zimbabwe. Zimflora (a Dutch Flower Group company) facilitates this project in Zimbabwe. St Michael is one of the three schools within the community of Zimflora (a Dutch Flower Group company) they work with. One of the recent projects is the Learning Support Program.
The objective of the program was to fund one learning support teacher to grade 3 & 4 students who are in need of extra learning support. It is great to hear that 14 children have already progressed through this program. With another 13 months ahead we are positive that more children will benefit from this very important work the teacher is doing.
We are grateful to support this wonderful long term project.

Since last year, our board has been joined by mascot Mick. And what a lucky guy, Mick gets to go out with everyone right away! Cuddling with the children from Nini Daycare, posing for a photo with the ladies from Join for Joy, and visiting Arjan from Foundation Kind in Oost Europa (Child in East Europe).
Dutch Flower Foundation 2025
22.01.2026
It’s almost the end of January, and as we are working on our 2025 annual report, it gives us a moment to look back at all the special projects of last year. We are grateful that we were able to support various projects in China, South America, Africa and Europe. Most often helping those who need it most, vulnerable children, but also lonely elderly people and people who need support with their most basic needs. We could not do this without our contributing partners and all Dutch Flower Group companies. 🫶

A colleague informed us about the Ushersyndroom Foundation. In the Netherlands, around 1.000 people have Usher syndrome, which can cause them to gradually become deaf and blind.
3FM Serious Request: action for Spieren voor Spieren
19.12.2025
This year, 3FM Serious Request is taking action and raising awareness for Spieren voor Spieren. Many children dream of becoming veterinarian, teacher, or professional soccer player. But what if you can’t run after a ball or even hold a pen. Because your muscles simply no longer cooperate or stop working altogether. With very serious consequences, there are 20.000 children with a muscle disease in The Netherlands.
