Dutch Flower Foundation 2025
It’s almost the end of January, and as we are working on our 2025 annual report, it gives us a moment to look back at all the special projects of last year.
We are grateful that we were able to support various projects in China, South America, Africa and Europe. Most often helping those who need it most, vulnerable children, but also lonely elderly people and people who need support with their most basic needs.
We could not do this without our contributing partners and all Dutch Flower Group companies. 🫶
In total we donated €227.323.- divided over 74 projects.
Some other 2025 facts:
- Colleagues took action in full force: Chicken Run, Ride for the Roses, Macmillan Mighty Hike, various marathons, Strong Viking, the ‘1000 km for Kom op tegen Kanker’, and many other sponsored runs.
- A fully equipped playground was created.
- Loneliness among the elderly was addressed through ‘happy bouquets’ (Kletsboeket), flower-arranging workshops, boat trips, and thanks to Grandma Coby care homes were transformed into golden oldies discos.
- Two DFF bicycles were donated to the Foundation Jade
- One camera was donated to the Amalia Children’s Hospital, one hearing aid to an employee of Nini Kenya, and one ultrasound machine was donated.
- Ten QuickTalkers were donated to a special needs school in Colombia.
- We supported projects in the following countries: Belgium, Cambodia, Colombia, Germany, Ecuador, Ethiopia, Kenya, the Netherlands, Uganda, Eastern Europe, Poland, the United Kingdom and South Africa.
