Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) is a muscle and nerve disorder that leads to the progressive failure of the muscles. At present, there is no treatment or medicine capable of combating this incurable disease.<\/p>\n\n\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\t\n\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t<\/div>\n\n\t\n\n\n\t<div id=\"\" class=\"content content--left content--white\">\n\t\n\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"content__text-video wysiwyg\">\n\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"wrapper\">\n\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"content__col content__col--text\">\n\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The swimmers received support from many spectators along the swimming course and in the party tent. This wonderful edition was all about togetherness, sportsmanship, and fun. Together, the swimmers and sponsors raised a fantastic preliminary total of no less than \u20ac1,048,856.00.<\/p>\n<p>ALS Westland Foundation<br \/>\nThe ALS Westland Foundation is dedicated to the fight against the nerve\/muscle disease ALS by raising awareness of the disease, providing assistance to patients and their families, and raising funds.
