They have three schools of their own and a hospital; we support Sher with several projects.<\/p>\n\n\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\t\n\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t<\/div>\n\n\t\n\n\n\t<div id=\"\" class=\"content content--left content--white\">\n\t\n\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"content__text-image wysiwyg\">\n\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"wrapper\">\n\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"content__col content__col--text\">\n\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Project Mela for Her<br \/>\n350 girls were distributed reusable menstrual kits at one of the nursery&#8217;s schools. Many girls do not attend school during their periods. That&#8217;s why discussing and distributing the packets is very important.<br \/>\nEvery year we make sure that new 11-year-old children get a packet and that each packet is replaced in time. Now they can just go to school every day!<\/p>\n<p>Projects Hospital<br \/>\nIn 2020, Afriflora Sher installed a new X-ray machine worth over $50,000 at Sher Hospital, provided by Dutch Flower Foundation. At Sher Hospital in Ziway, which functions as a regional hospital, more than 100,000 patients are treated annually for a variety of reasons. The 12,500 employees and 6,500 children from the schools, receive free care at this hospital.<\/p>\n<p>In 2024 the hospital was able to commission a new laboratory machine. Van Dijk Flora and the Foundation donated this together. This fully automated BS-200E chemistry analyzer has a capacity of 200 test per hour.
