Swanson<\/a>\u00a0(Medical Director of the NICU).<br \/>\nAfter a presentation of him and a tour in the NICU, we where convinced to support the organisation.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\t\n\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t<\/div>\n\n\t\n\n\n\t<div id=\"\" class=\"content content--right content--white\">\n\t\n\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"content__text-image wysiwyg\">\n\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"wrapper\">\n\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"content__col content__col--text\">\n\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Dr Swanson: In 2020 the NICU cared for 325 NICU babies. With a 93% survival rate using only appropriate technology for Tanzania and the basics of respiratory support, thermoregulation, and feeding. 83% of babies born under 1500 kg survived in our NICU- babies that would be unlikely to survive in other hospitals.
