About Dutch Flower Foundation<\/h1>\n

In 1999, the OZ Group (of the Van Zijverden family) from Aalsmeer and the Van Duijn Group (of the Van Duijn family) from Naaldwijk decided to merge into Dutch Flower Group (DFG).<\/p>\n

At the same time, the Dutch Flower Foundation was established. The foundation was set up to support charities in various places in the world where DFG companies are active. Making a social contribution to the well-being of people in need of help and in particular children. Now, for more than 25 years, we can proudly look back on more than 1,200 projects to which we have made a significant contribution. Our foundation is financially supported by companies within the Dutch Flower Group family, partners in the chain and other stakeholders.<\/p>\n\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Mission<\/strong><\/h2>\n

We as Dutch Flower Foundation want to contribute to projects in the areas where Dutch Flower Group companies are active.       \n“The first time I traveled to Senegal, I encountered albinos; in many African countries, they live in dire conditions and are often ostracized and even killed. A – seemingly small – contribution to the village enabled the construction of a chicken coop and the purchase of chickens, which had a tremendous impact on the residents. The encounter with the albino village left a profound impression on me, and when a vacant position arose within the board of our Foundation, I didn’t hesitate for a moment; I wanted to be part of it!
